Dr. Elena Vasquez founded Selene with one belief at its core: the greatest experiences in human history should be open to anyone with the courage to reach for them. The Selene Foundation Programme is the proof of that belief — not a press release, not a charity donation, but three actual seats on an actual expedition to the Moon.
We are not looking for the richest. We are not looking for the most famous. We are looking for the most extraordinary — teachers, nurses, artists, scientists, parents, dreamers. People whose stories deserve to be told from 384,400 kilometres away.
Fifteen people over five years will stand on the Moon at no cost. They will come back changed. They will tell the world what they saw. And the world will listen.

Phase 1 — Apply or Nominate
Tell us a story
Apply for yourself or nominate someone you believe deserves to go. Write your story — who you are, what you've done, what you would bring back. No word limit. No template. Just the truth.
Phase 2 — Expert Review
Our panel decides the shortlist
A panel of scientists, artists, humanitarians and explorers reviews every application. They select 20 shortlisted candidates whose stories will go to the public vote. The panel looks for one thing above all else: people who will do something extraordinary with the experience.
Phase 3 — The Public Vote
The world decides
The 20 shortlisted stories are published publicly. For 30 days the world votes. The three candidates with the most votes win a seat. The vote is open to everyone — no registration, no fee. One vote per person per day.
Phase 4 — The Announcement
Live. Global. Unforgettable.
Winners are announced in a live globally-streamed event. Three people find out — in front of the world — that they are going to the Moon. For free. Every excursion included. All of it.
